Having retired from a profession that did not require being
good with tools I will confess the I usually get someone
else to fix any problems I encounter. I’m a klutz when it
comes to home repairs and on more than one occasion I, ve
caused more problems than I’ve solved. However I do like
to stay active and so I decided to do lawn mowing and snowplowing
for extra cash in my retirement. I placed a few index cards
in the local stores on the bulletin boards advertising
my services. One Friday after golf I stopped in to the local bar for a few
beers and a friend that lives across the lake from me told
me of a lady who, s husband had just died. He said she needed
a handyman for mowing and plowing and that I should give
her a call.
